RWK brief history
RWK Dunsborough was opened by Director Rob Koch and his wife Sharon in 1999. Having both worked in the Australia Taxation Office, Rob and Sharon made the sea change to Dunsborough with their two young children and purchased a parcel of fees for under $100,000.
Director Gemma Denton joined RWK in Dunsborough in 2005 from Deloitte in Darwin and was one of the first handful of employees to RWK. Having been born in Boyanup and moving home she looked to grow RWK further to where she lived.
In 2013 the second RWK office was opened and located at the gateway to the Ferguson Valley in Dardanup. Within 4 years there were 8 staff and the office had been outgrown.
And so came Bunbury and in 2017 the largest of the 3 offices was opened. Boasting a ‘business café’ layout the space is both welcoming and functional and completely breaks the mould of how a visit to the accountant should feel. Offering regular free events and workshops the focus is on educating clients and giving back to business.
From $100,000 in fees our target for 2020 is over $3 million. By embracing cloud technology, supporting and helping to grow business we see nothing but opportunities for accountants and our role in the success of the areas we live and work in.
